I recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Lexington for three nights with my family. The location is fantastic, right off I-85, with restaurants and shops nearby. The TV had plenty of channels, which was a nice bonus. However, the breakfast left much to be desired. On our first morning, the hot food was nearly gone by 9:15, and the coffee pots were empty. The breakfast area needed better upkeep. One day, it was much better with more food options available, but this inconsistency was frustrating. The room had a strong lingering smoke odor despite being labeled as non-smoking. Even after reporting, I was told there were no rooms available for a switch. It would be great if the hotel replaced carpets and mattresses to properly eliminate this issue. I faced a couple of annoyances like not having enough luggage racks or a second chair in the room. The TV remote was also slow and difficult to use. Overall, while it had a lot of good points, those areas for improvement dampened the experience a bit.
